My husband and I met while serving in the Peace Corps in Uganda, so our story has always been deeply rooted in adventure. We lived together in Florida for a couple of years, but we were traveling constantly to go hiking in various states. Because of this, we decided to move out west, and now we are settled in Fort Collins, Colorado. We absolutely love the community here and accessibility to the mountains, and I don't see us leaving this area any time soon. When it came time for us to get married, it only felt right for us to elope outdoors. Just the two of us, our dog, a couple of cameras (yep, I photographed our elopement!), the mountains, and the wide open sky. On our one year anniversary, we went back to Uganda, where we met, and “got married” again. We shared this with our two closest friends from our time in Uganda, and it was really special.
I first picked up a camera in 2014, and I've never looked back. I have photographed my travels all across the globe, landscapes on my many hikes, and more love stories than I can count. After over a decade, this is still my favorite thing to do, and I feel immense gratitude to be able to do it full time.

Outside of photographing weddings, you’ll probably find us camping under the stars, hiking a new trail, tackling a home project, hanging out with our dogs/cats, or traveling to Florida or Arkansas to spend time with family.

why 35mm film?
In the digital age where 100s of photos can be taken in the split of a second, film makes me notice and slow down. It’s all about being intentional with every shot since they are numbered. Film is a chemical miracle, a physical representation of how the light of the moment interacted with the film itself. It cannot be altered, and in this time where everything is perfectly manicured and manufactured with ai, this level of authenticity is just beautiful. Film is inherently nostalgic and will only get better over time. To me, film photos show not only how the moment looked, but more importantly how it felt. Film will always be included in my packages and is a necessary part of my creative process, most of the photos you see on this website are film!

Our family photos by Jen were absolutely incredible, and the photoshoot itself was genuinely a blast! We have a very energetic toddler, and Jen was very fun and professional in being able to work with our dynamic to consistently compose really authentically special moments. The pictures were stunning, and equally important, everyone in the family felt very comfortable throughout the process which allowed for sincere warm emotions to really shine in the photos.
