Ashley + JJ had their first date at Dairy Delite in Loveland, Colorado, so naturally we did their engagement photos there. The first location we went to was 5 minutes down the road at a new natural area that is beautiful and green this time of year. Ashley got her fabulous dress for this shoot from Second Love, a resale boutique in Denver, and it could not have been more perfect. The soft, romantic style paired beautifully with the spring scenery.

After spending some time among the greenery, we headed to the place where their story began; Dairy Delite. It was the perfect way to make their engagement session feel personal and meaningful. Between sharing ice cream and hot dogs, reminiscing on their story, and laughing together the entire time, Ashley and JJ made my job incredibly easy. Their connection is effortless, and capturing these moments felt like documenting a date night rather than posing for photos.

I always love incorporating locations that hold significance for my couples, and this session was a perfect reminder of why. From the natural beauty of Loveland to the nostalgic charm of Dairy Delite, every part of this evening reflected Ashley and JJ’s story.
